Since 2013, Lesley has operated her multiple award-winning cake business from home, just a short distance from St Andrews, Fife, Scotland. Wedding cakes and bakes are the mainstay of the business, and Fife born-and-bred Lesley is an approved supplier to many fabulous venues in and around St Andrews, including The Old Course Golf Resort and Spa, Fairmont, University of St Andrews, Cambo House, Forgans and The Cow Shed Crail. All products are lovingly handmade using quality, fresh ingredients, locally sourced wherever possible.
Lesley is a self-taught, one-woman do-it-all operation, with impeccable time-management skills, professionalism, artisanship and an understated, elegant style to her work. Providing an entirely personalised service, The Occasional Cake Company will design, bake, decorate, deliver and assemble your wedding cake. With a proven reputation for service excellence amongst both domestic and overseas wedding clients, Lesley makes planning a wedding cake as easy as it possibly can be, even if you’re from the other side of the world. Working days are normally Thursday through to the weekend, with the exception of school holidays. Commissions start at £400 for the simplest of wedding cakes. If you have special dietary requirements, The Occasional Cake Company will do its very best to accommodate you.
